Sitting on the Fence

A pleasant afternoon before the rain set in, so I went for a little wander around my patch, logging 21 species of bird. There were lots of Willow Warblers singing away and I got one or two nice shots, but this unexpected sighting of a linnet was the one I decided to go with. There seem to be a lot around locally at the moment, which is good, as they are one of the birds in serious decline.
