A nap in the sun

Dear Diary,

If we could only live our lives totally in the present moment...revel in the sunshine when it is there to enjoy, embrace the rain showers when then come. Emerson lives this way and he is my daily inspiration. He is the kindest and gentlest of souls and accepts me for who I am, with all my short comings. He asks only to be loved and cared for...don't we all?
