Ridges

14.3C starting dull and becoming bright and sunny. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. We went down the field with the bridle path to the shore. Potatoes have been planted in about two thirds of the field with the huge ridges set up for the rest. No sign of any tractors today though.

There were a few people walking along the beach. I had seen the new boat out at sea from the country road this morning and it was back on the trailer by the huts when we walked past. Lots of creels piled up ready to load next to Shamara II.

Later I mowed the front lawn then pruned some dogwood and cotoneaster.
