Weeds, reeds, and a green heron

As I walked past the bog in Chagrin River Park, I did a double take and turned around for a second look, muttering to myself, "That looks like, but no it can't be...." Turned out it was a green heron. I may have seen one once several years ago in the park, but it is definitely not a common sighting. Actually it's uncommon enough to make my day. Five minutes into my walk, and I knew I had my blip. I would have tried for a few more shots, but after three shutter clicks, he flew away.
