It's been a sort of a looming day, with a mix of gloomy and wet weather. Just right for a bit of Stalinist Architecture ;-) Featuring today the James Hight building, home to the Central Library. On the inside it's light, bright and state of the art modern.

I gave it the gold mono-treatment as started by Jillian and Horomaka today.

Looming in the foreground is a nasty weather system that could deliver both rain and wind tonight. That won't be good for my earthquake leaks but at least the end is in sight.

Looming is the background are negotiations with my insurance company and decisions about where I'll live (and the little fur child) while my home is repaired.
