Good placement

On my way to work this morning my access to the motorway to the Harbour Bridge was controlled by this red light. Because I was early enough, the next control system (the ramp lights) was not on. My speed on the motorway was controlled by signs indicating that instead of the usual 80 km/h, i could not exceed 70. Of course, on the bridge the traffic slows to much less than that.

This local thought was posted onto one of the pillars supporting the Victoria Park Flyover. In an uncontrolled moment, I put the car in neutral, and applied the handbrake. Got the camera out, opened the window and was able to get one photograph before the lights changed. I didn't even get tooted, another form of control which is rarely systematic.
