8.9 C with haar and with rain through the afternoon onwards. Light breeze.

The haar was with us again this morning. With the forecast promising rain I grabbed a shot of the big fence post on the road up to the church on the early walk. We couldn't see as far as the oil seed rape never mind as far as the sea.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went to Broughty Ferry this morning. It was dry and dull. There was light rain by just after lunch so we haven't walked very far today. The rain has become heavier.

The second early potatoes in the big pots are all showing above the compost, and many of the seeds in the pots and modules in the greenhouse have germinated.
