Lily loyalty

Patriotism is a form of loyalty. I am very loyal to these lilies, purchased a few days before I started blipping them one week ago. The center flower is the newest bud to open, just yesterday. In this image (unaltered as to color and focus) the center bloom is the new flower. Notice its bright large pollen-laden anthers and its fresh color.

Six lily stems, each with multiple buds of unknown color, began together in a large pitcher. As they opened, they revealed themselves to be half white and half red. They have since been separated into two vases: yesterday's shot was of two stems in a cobalt blue bottle, and today's shows the other four stems in a clear glass vase. I think lilies are going to be my image until there's nothing left of them, or until (as chantler63 claims) they start to stink — there are limits to my loyalty.

OUR REVELS NOW ARE ENDED

A challenging ride!
But with my undone scribbles
I must now abide.
