Free Comic Book Day

Today was Free Comic Book Day, a day when comic book stores world wide hand out free comic books to whoever venture into their store. To celebrate this fact after I finished work Jono and I headed into the city and to a store called All Star Comics near the end of Hardware Lane, only to discover that the line was huge, as you can see! To kill time we got some breakfast on Hardware Lane and went back to the store. The line was about the same. We got in it and waited for about fifteen minutes...and hardly moved. But in that time we were given a biscuit and our free comic! It was okay, it's really just a few samples of comics to wet your appetite, but it did the job, and you know...free.

We eventually left the line figuring we already had our comics and headed back home with the intention to go to the comic book store in Moonee Ponds. Which we did, they too had the same free comic books but we ended up buying one each from there anyway. We headed back to Brunnie just as the rain started coming in. We spent the afternoon doing typical brotherly things like watching TV, doing a thousand skips each, and of course, reading comics.
