Web of colour

Today's gentle rain presented an opportunity to capture the beautiful spider's web gleaming with water droplets, woven on the new azalea bush I planted last year. (Nice viewed in large.)

I did not give this bush much hope when I tipped it out off its pot from the nursery as the root ball was riddled with ants. However they all ran off somewhere - maybe the neighbour's garden! The bush has established itself well and is now home to a more welcome insect!
