Footprints in the Sand

The fourth and final back-blip following a short break in Cornwall with son Andy.

Today was a real chill-out day following a brilliant time at Helston's Flora Day yesterday. After a leisurely breakfast, following which Andy went back to bed(!), I popped down to Porthleven for a bit of quality time without the camera for a change. We then grabbed a fresh filled roll from the local bakers, which we ate by the local boating lake, then ventured down to St Ives for the afternoon. The strong wind was just the job for blowing out the cobwebs as we strolled across Porthmeor Beach.

We later met with Andrew's grandparents, Bern and Jan, for a meal at Newlyn Meadery, one of our favourite haunts, before heading back to Helston for an early night. Another super day.
