Summit

Mr B on the summit of Baba Dag, the something-over-6,000' mountain that stands above the village. We didn't hike all the way up here - a scary minibus ride took care of the bulk of the climb, so that we were able to begin our day watching hang-gliders launching themselves down a specially-built ramp (eek) and sail off into the blue. A rigorous yomp to the summit followed - we wondered if this, on our first hike, was planned to see if altitude and exertion produced any fatalities.

It was downhill all the way after that (literally) for another three hours, with a frankly terrifying ride down another mountain at the end of it.

We're all still here ...
