Stirling Castle Pano

D and I once attended a function with dinner in the Great Hall in this castle years ago, but we never actually visited the rest of the castle until now (and in the mean time it has been undergoing extensive restorations). It's one of the most important Scottish castles, the place where Mary, Queen of Scots was brought to as a newborn baby to grow up and crowned a queen, as her father James V died 6 days after she was born. Had to think of my late friend Liz many times, there are unicorns all around ! It's a beautiful castle , decorated wonderfully and there are guides/docents dressed up in historical costumes, looking very authentic. Do visit if you can ! Its situation on top of a hill overlooking the whole of the region is totally wonderful. This is a panorama of 6 handheld portrait format pictures stitched together in PS Elements 7.

Thanks very much for the comments on yesterday's telephone booth :-)
