Complex

This is our flame tree again - in fact - the same flower it threw out when I said it was a late bloomer! The flower is continuing to develop and has now produced these two white things in the middle. I really need to get up close and do a proper macro. Large shows it off a bit better. Even the leaves are complex. Definitely compound.

We've had a bit of excitement at work. Organised by the parent company in the UK, we are gearing up to a "Go Bananas" week (or two) where we collectively run events in our local offices to raise money for cancer research. Our CEO this year is offering individuals who raise £150 an extra days' holiday. Well, that got our little department totally motivated to run some fund-raising events. We must raise £900 ($1,500) collectively so we can all have an extra day added to our annual leave. Needless to say, we have a plan. [Big smile with both eyebrows going up and down]
