Fallen

This tree fell during the storms earlier in the year, but it is nonetheless in full leaf now, as is the tree further down the slop it brought down with it.

Nature isn't easily defeated.

Not sure what will happen in the long run with it, it's in a hugely inaccessible position so maybe it will just be left to live out its days.

Today is my last day when both my kids are children if you see what I mean. Big birthday tomorrow.

When I typed "fallen" into my itunes, it came up with this. They don't make 'em like that any more.
