Around at the Potted Garden

So much to do today, yet we went to the gym first thing, arriving home just before 12.00. It's not the gym that takes all the time it's getting there and back and shaving afterwards (me) and hair washing (Susan), not the other way around.

Back in time to do an hour of railway revision, caught myself closing my eyes to think a problem though and realised I'd briefly dropped off to sleep.

The afternoon was spent working for a couple of hours on a detailed paper we've been asked to do on the Young Offenders Virtual Campus. Seems like a lot of work is required to get it into a state that people can use. Then off to the Potted Garden for growbags and weed suppressant. As we're in the Lake District next week I needed to get my tomatoes into growbags so that they would last the week while we were away.

The Potted Garden is a plant nursery nearby where we often go instead of the major garden centres. It has a lovely little garden where staff have created a haven for birds with a hide for customers to watch their antics. It's always alive with feeding birds at this time of the year. Shame I forgot to take the DSLR, I had to make do with the iPhone. Took a shot from this location last year.

Came back home, hoovered out the the car ready for tomorrow's journey and checked tyres, oil and water so that everything was tiptop.

Finally, after dinner, packing. Gathering everything together, clothes and all the gizmos that you need to take away with you nowadays; leads, power supplies, computers, ipods and the like.

Time to complete the journal and sit back for an hour or so before bed and an early rise tomorrow.
