Family Gathering in Linlithgow

We were in two minds whether to travel or not, heavy snowfalls across Central Scotland today. As it was the only opportunity for my whole family to get together, we decided to go, complete with shovel.

We made it as far as the bottom of Preston Road and had to abandon the car. Several vehicles in front of us were skidding about on the steep hill, and it was getting dangerous. We had to walk over half a mile to my sister's house, and this gave me the chance to take a shot up the frozen Union Canal.

A lovely time together, and then all the guys went off to dig the parents' car out of the snow, left in another part of town.
