Waiting for the third operation

My mother will need to have a hip replacement. We heard the news yesterday, when the results of her latest x-ray pictures came back. Those were sad news for us all, but most of all for my mother of course. The date for the surgery has not been set, but wednesday is likely. So instead of me going back home to Akureyri, I'll be staying here the next week (at least).
