A glimpse of the past.....

.....yep, I'm still in 'history research' mode, but this time it's even more local. That chap standing on the left facing the (cine) camera is very possibly the Rev James Payne who actually used to live in MY HOUSE (in the days when it was a Methodist manse, it's been defrocked since) along with his wife Elizabeth and his daughter Adeline Gertrude! Oh, isn't the internet wonderful when the weather's nothing to write home about?
