White dove on Swanage's Banjo Pier

To the left can be seen part of the site of Swanage's Seafront Stabilisation Project. Work has been underway for several months to prevent landslip on the town's Recreation Ground. The scheme will provide inter alia two tiers of beach huts along Shore Road, and will cost the Town Council about three million pounds.

The visit of the white dove to the pier has no known significance.
