Rainy Bargemon

Today we decided to walk into Bargemon for lunch, we thought we'd take an umbrella and it was a good decision. When we last stayed at Bargemon a new restaurant, Maitre Blanc, had just opened but it wasn't open every day and it didn't work out for us. We went there today and enjoyed an excellent meal. Marian pointed out that it's only the second time we've gone out for a meal this holiday. It was quite a boozy lunch as it turned out and we staggered back home for a snooze.

To be honest it didn't rain much, but it's added a nice touch. I took this one on the way home and like the way the cobbles glisten in the rain. The pavement restaurants are empty as well as you can see here.

I'm not sure tomorrow's going to be a great day weatherwise but we're heading off to Apt to stay with Pip and Bruno for a couple of nights before we continue on to the Dordogne.
