at home with an Ivysaurus

By MoGrant

Ahhh! It's a Hoodie!

This is Ivy pulling all the stuff out of her changing bag. Just because she can...

Laura T came round to see us in the Afternoon to fit a fancy energy usage monitor that connects to the internet so she can spy on us monitor our usage to provide helpful tips to cut back. Ivy helped by chewing on various parts.

Then Laura and I went on a roadtrip, an hour north to visit other Laura who know lives in Altandhu. Ivy giggled when the collie puppy liked her hands (that were covered in bits of the breadsticks I made her earlier), but she got a bit of a fright when she got barked at. I got a fright when she got snapped at and after that she wasn't allowed to play with the puppy anymore (altough I think by that point the puppy was scared of her). She fell headfirst down a teeny tiny step (It was my fault for trying to coax her down them, I wanted her to practise NOT going headfirst on a little step). Sometimes when she really hurts herself she screams silently- this time she did this for so long her lips went blue. She recovered shortly afterwards and had completly forgotten about in 5 minutes later when Euan arrived. She held onto his ear for support whilst sitting on his shoulders- but like all cute things she did today she stopped as soon as a camera came out.

Dinner was roast beef with roast parsnips and veg. There's no dining table- so Ivy got to stand at a coffee table to eat, she enjoyed this particullarly as it meant she could go off an adventure and then come back and keep eating.

We put Ivy to sleep in her car seat behind the sofa so we could play a board game. It was after midnight by the time we left, and she did very well going to sleep in her cot when we got in.
