Korean Pine

Well I think that's what it is. I'm going to start being more polite about North Korea after yesterdays triumph of apathy. 23% turned out to vote in Poland as compared with 90% in some places. If we are looking for anywhere with an even worse turnout, we don't need to look further than Slovakia where a staggering 13% had views they thought important. After 25 years of democracy... they lost interest. A well known Polish nutter is veritably surfing on public opinion and will be representing the restoration of the monarchy and abolition of workers' rights. His name is Korwin-Mikke and I'm pretty sure he will be making himself visible. Apparently the young 18-25 year olds are enthusiastic about his ideas too. Well in a democracy even the completely bonkers should have their say. North Korea here we come.
