Slightly Macabre

We were in Bellagio this afternoon when we observed this mannequin outside a clothes shop. As the mannequin is modelling men's clothes a head is perhaps not required, still the effect might be found slightly macabre.

Weather was hot and sunny until we ere on the ferry returning to Lenno when it clouded over, and we could hear thunder in the distance. By the time we came ashore it was just starting to rain. As usual I was not dressed for any weather variations so I got quite wet.

I found that although I was pretty well soaked, by the time we stopped in the local bar on the way back I had already dried off. The thunder continued to rumble on for an hour or so after we were back, but there was no further rain. So we had barely enough rain to water the grass. As the sun never returned though there was no activity at the pool.

Our Irish neighbours, they have the apartment upstairs from ours, left today. They have the good fortune to have direct flights from Dublin to Milan, so can pop across for short visits. From Aberdeen the trip is rather more arduous.
