Ennerdale

We started the day with a return to Whitehaven, as the Beacon Museum had been closed on Monday and 9yo was keen to revisit.

Then it was east into Ennerdale for a nice walk into the forest and along the lake shore.

And after a visit to Ennerdale, it seemed apposite to finish with dinner at the Woolpack Inn at the head of Eskdale. I can recommend the chick pea burger.

We'll be returning home tomorrow, but still time for a boat trip and an excursion or two on the way back.
