I have spent the most glorious day at Stanton House which is a Christian retreat house. Much of our time was spent in the grounds just wandering about and relaxing :)

The unexpected surprise element was the sight of two pheasants :) First of all I saw them in the middle of the wild flower patch that they planted last year, then I think they sensed my presence and broke cover....just in time for me to snap one of them quickly before they disappeared into dense undergrowth.

Very much looking forward to going back there for a week in August!
