The Cherry Tree and The Moon

Far from the beaches I’m standing
at my last station waiting for both
loved ones to arrive at their dreamed
destination. Hope and kairos, love
and faith have brought together our
threesome heart, unique in souls,
walking in rhythms of change under
our Guardian Oak sheltering the robin,
the wagtail and the chirpy tits. We
share our dreams of early peace,
and deep encounter in a newborn
nature, opening our inner eyes for
the unknowable. And now that lulling
moment of waiting is bursting. The
station clock holds. The cherry tree
hangs a thousand gleaming lollies
in the bright blue sky. The moon is
smiling nearby. The train doors are
sliding apart: Here we arrive again,
feeling our kiss, here is where we
belong. A lifetime journey fulfilling
its promise of birth out of waiting.
