Think...

...Cock-a-leekie.

Another expedition along the banks of the ice-filled River Forth earlier today.

The River Devon that meets the Forth down here is completely frozen over in sections now and there's still loads of ice flowing along the main River too.

Lots of activity in the air too - swans swooping down to land in the ice-free section of the river, Buzzards scanning the ground for food, Herons flitting back and forward and even an RAF Rescue Helicopter scanning the Ochil Hills. There were walkers on the hills, but I don't think they were there looking for anyone, just visiting and looking at the avalanche debris...

Euan had filled a flask with some home-made cock-a-leekie soup and we had a chilly picnic on the River bank with this as we watched the world float and fly by.

I've now got this stuck in my head...
