I've arrived at Yuzhnoe Sakhalinsk, on Sakhalin Island, which is just at the entrance to the Sea of Okhostk, on the far eastern shores of Russia. I'm going to be embarking Wednesday, on an expedition ship sailing around the western shores of the Sea of Okhostk, for the next 12 days. Am I excited? Definitely!

I hope that the map helps! Okhostk = Or-hort-sk. Hard to say?
