The Sir Norman Rae

My wonderful day off yesterday had to be paid for today. In the office for just after 7am and didn't leave until just before 9pm. That was no fun. It's not just me though. The whole team is under huge pressure at the moment. There is a lot at stake for us right now. It's the cost of being a little company trying to take on the big boys.

I was stuck firmly in my head at lunchtime and very much struggling to engage. At these times the pubs are always a good bet. It seems very easy to strike up conversations with those folk who have popped out for a smoke. And I've discovered that these doorways are superb for portraits, trying to get the subject in the light against the dark shadow of the interior.

Peter here is a lovely guy and it's good to know that there are still new discoveries to be made amongst the regulars at the Sir Norman Rae. The guy with the skull tattoo on the back of his head is Chris, who has already been bagged for the collection!

I fear yet again it's a case of blipping and falling into bed. It's another early start tomorrow. Lots more new people going live with our software in the Netherlands and they are an hour ahead of us. Fingers need to be crossed!
