Golconda in the rains

Hyderabad winters are known to be dry and cool. But in the last week its been gathering clouds and the temperature has gone up since then. Today, we had planned a team outing to the most famous tourism point in Hyderabad, the Golconda Fort. I will be leaving this team and moving to another one. So it seemed right to go out with them and spend sometime.

Today, the sky was over cast quite heavily since morning. We were wondering what it would be like to climb the fort if the rain was really heavy. Fortunately for us, it was sporadic rain and drizzling most of the time. So the weather was simply beautiful and the breeze perfect. We climbed all the way up and took shelter at the top of the fort where the emperor used to sit overlooking the kingdom.

While we were at the top, a whole bunch of people were having fun in the rain. It was a nice scene to watch. Lots of activity with people enjoying the rain and finding their own ways of entertainment. Overall a good outing for the day!
