Stoddard's Point at Night, Lyttelton Harbour

After camera club I decided to nip round the corner in Diamond Harbour to Stoddard's Point, overlooking the wharf and the harbour.

I've been here several times, and have shot the lovely 'Looking For Something That Will Last' sculpture before. At night, the bronze glowed in the sodium lights from across the harbour, whilst the port hummed with industry.

You might almost be able to pick out the stars breaking through the clouds too.
