Ideas from small sections

I was trying out a few different colours this morning (and mixing different makes of printing ink in the process, which seem to have worked fine). One of the good things about taking photographs is that I can isolate small sections of an image and think about how I might use them in a different piece.

A short evening meeting with Paul at the camera club to look at images that we might for a forthcoming inter-club competition. I'm not too optimistic about us coming out the winners of this years competition. One of our problems has been that we've recently had several digital competitions and we need to have ten colour prints (which I think we've got) and ten mono (which is presenting more of a challenge).
