Uncommon common flicker

Common “red shafted” flicker, male. Very uncommon for me (not exactly a birder) to see here (in the city) but this guy in the next door neighbor’s yard caught my eye out my dining room window. He was pecking on the ground around these rocks for a long time - so I could go get the camera and the bigger lens. I love their striped salmon back feathers and the polka dots on the chest.
