Winter Trees

Don't be mistaken this is not a lake but unfortunately farmland under water, it lies beside a busy road, only two lanes and a railway line.

Before the earthquakes the land usually got flooded once a year but since the water table has moved from the earthquakes the poor farmer has to put up with his land being flooded on a more regular basis. The rain came on 10 June, there are no signs of the water receding, the sheep have been moved elsewhere.

I had to call on the blipadviser today, as there was no way we could stop on the side of the road being a busy road and the verge is soft from the rain, he drove while I took photo's out the window, it's called teamwork :)

A blue sky, white clouds, a bit of sun and a cooler breeze, local temperature from the airfield records 15C - not bad. On the other side of these trees it was all ripples and no reflections, just the way the breeze was blowing.

Just noticed my one year ago, also the same topic.
