Luckier than Some

"Everything should go well" the surgeon reassured me, "but there is a 1 in 100 chance of a minor complication and a 1 in 200 chance of a major one". I suppose I should consider myself "lucky" that it was only the former, but it resulted in an extra day in hospital and a considerable amount of pain since I've come home.

I'm sure I'll feel better in a few days, but right now I feel very sick and sore, so forgive me if I can't keep up with your journals at the moment.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your kind wishes and to my daughter for these lovely flowers.
