Saltdean Lido

Saltdean Lido, just east of Brighton, is a run-down art-deco facility that was opened in 1938 and had become derelict 20 years later.

After a long campaign, the Saltdean Lido Community Interest Company now have a 60-year lease and hope to do a refurbishment before re-opening in 2016.
