Re-running Le Mans

In Yorkshire for a car event tomorrow. I came via Heathrow and Newcastle airports, on a flight delayed by three hours, thanks to the French air traffic strike and a malfunctioning British Airways plane. Arrived just in time for a technical briefing and then dinner.

This grand Scalextric track has been set up by our hosts, Suzuki, for some lightly competitive post-dinner entertainment. Needless to say, it is becoming more hotly contested with every the second that passes. It is beginning to feel rather like a re-run of Porsche versus Audi at Le Mans! It could be a long night ...
