Green and White

A late start so I cleared a few things off the list, including throwing out some very expired spices that have been all the way to France and back. France, another country.

Then I caught up on more stuff at work. The office was very quiet today. People off or on training. Our story was in the 'Evening News' but like many newspaper stories it has caused waves.

Late meeting with the new CEO of the Cyrenians and then home. The sun is still shining, I've opened a bottle and blipped my bonny white flowers. I wanted to try and capture the young magpies this morning but they were having none of it.

On the way home a great example of Edinburgh folk. This woman, tourist, visitor, foreigner, ascended the #31. The driver couldn't help her work out where she should alight but within 5 minutes 3 other passengers had consulted her piece of paper, Google maps and combined local knowledge to ensure she'd get where she wants to go. Heart warming.

But the best thing today was that #3 son had his results confirmed. After 7 years at 2 universities he has, overcoming his dyslexia, achieved a 2.1 and is now a B.Sc (Hons) Econ.
He's never done economics in life. His studies are in politics and international relations. Who cares, he's a graduate and I'm off to Aberystwyth next month for v the graduation. Oh and #2 gf got a 2.1 too.
Some days life IS good.
