Food as art- Selfie

You are what you eat

Food as art: ingredients- lettuce, olives, asparagus, red and green peppers.

Well, the latest research shows people will eat more if it is presented in a novel and interesting manner.
OK that is not rocket science but now research from Oxford University confirms it.

Charles Michel, a Franco-Colombian chef and one of the authors of the study, designed salads resembling famous paintings. People were then offered the “food as art” dish or the same ingredients on another dish.
Not only did they prefer “food as art” but they were prepared to pay more for it.
