Red Arrows in Stirling

Yes, we’ve had the Red Arrows doing aerobatics over Stirling Castle, Cameron, Miliband, Salmon et al… they all descended – courtesy of helicopters- on our wee “city” today to help us celebrate Armed Forces Day.

Was I there? er…no…we were going to go but the garden demanded our attention, so much to do, and tomorrow its open to the public for charity. under Sotland's Gardens..

Well, we are one of seven opening in Bridge- of-Allan and calculate that folk will have to move fast to go around all 7 in the time span-1-5pm and have their tea in the church too so the odd weed, (actually lots of them) won’t be noticed.

Then guilt overtook us today. We saw some of the other gardens. Spotless. Weedless. So there was an almighty rush to tidy our lot up.

I did get to see the Red Arrows though as they roared overhead and all the birds rushed out of the trees terrified.

It was impressive and I regretted not going into the Stirling to see it.

So my blip for the day is my Dancing Shed , made by artist Paul Macdonald which I have blipped many times, and tomorrow it will be filled with music.

Oh yes, if you are in the Stirling area tomorrow do pop in.

We are worth a visit and the teas are very good in St Saviours church
