Out of Step

According to my Garden Encyclopedia this potted Felicia flowers from spring to autumn so I wasn’t concerned when it died down last month. Then suddenly it came to life, bursting out with leaves, buds, and now flowers. What a strange winter this is.

The day wasn’t so warm as lately. I had plenty to do in the greenhouse, planting Asian and European cabbages, and silver beet (chard). Also picking up some of the fallen grape leaves and weeding around plants put in a few weeks ago.

Indoors I resumed work on my 365 Day book, which I have been neglecting. I might have to make it a priority for a while.
