Puss moth number 2

I had a second puss moth hatch yesterday, and this one is a male, with big feathery antennae.
If you check out my shot of the female from April 29th you will see this one is smaller, and much more lightly marked too. He is also quite feisty and adopted this defensive (curled up ) pose as soon as I touched him! I have released him I the garden now, I hope he finds a nice lady puss moth soon!
It has been a very sad day, as we said goodbye to my friend and work colleague Sue who died 3 weeks ago. It was a very moving service, and her daughter gave the best eulogy. I am really going to miss her!
