Evening sun

We stay in the village when we come to Symi and this time we are in the upper part of it. It is 75 uneven and varied steps down to the village, and another 350 steps from the village to the harbour. We normally tend to stay in the village in the evening as (apart from being closer) it has a lovely friendly feel to it. But we've been here a week and only been to the harbour during the day and mainly for the ATM so tonight we ventured down. After the MASSIVE cruise ship had left (it had only been in for three hours) everything calmed down and we had a very nice meal in a little harbourside taverna before getting the bus back up (well, would you do 425 steps up at 11pm on a warm night?). This was a view on the Kali Strata on the way down. When we first came here all these properties were derelict but three of them have now been renovated. I wonder if the fourth one will have been done by the time we are next here?
