A Blip-Postcard from .........

........ the Port of Humboldt Bay near Eureka, California.

An edge-fade and a frame to give it that postcardy look (and for a bit more interest!!).

Bigger boats & bonus birdie ...

A day of mixed weather - started out chilly and grey, ended up less chilly and with some lovely blue sky - this photo was taken when the clouds were just starting to lift from the hills behind the coast.

Had intended to show Mum the historic buildings and bits of Eureka but it was all cordoned off with a fair for July 4th - I didn't factor that in at all - duh!!

We drove over to Samoa and then watched flocks of birds swoop and dive over the channel - absolutely beautiful to see.

Southwards to Fort Bragg and Mendocino tomorrow and then Sacramento for our last night and day ...... the end of the trip is fast approaching ..... boooooooooooo!
