A Collector of Oddities

A visit to Insh Marshes RSPB reserve today. There are two hides and the first one, Gordonhall was the busiest. This is a miscellaneous warbler – it didn't sing or call so I don't know what kind. It is a little soft as it was taken through the glass of the hide but I rather like it. We also saw red-legged partridge, sedge warbler, reed bunting, snipe and teal. A little group of stoats took me by surprise and I failed to get a photo of them. They took me so much by surprise that I struggled to alert my husband to their presence and it will probably be a long while before I can live my call of squirrelrabbitferretstoat down!
