Classical porch and window

Checked out another river vantage point having be told yesterday I could not take pictures in the grounds of St Vincent's Hospital, despite the public having access. I guess paranoia rules these days.

I followed Cherry Street down to the St Johns River and saw this porch and stained glass window at the corner of Cherry Street and St Johns Avenue. Porches are a common feature of houses in the Riverside district of Jacksonville, Florida. St Johns Avenue is one of the more expensive locations, which accounts for the porch being supported by columns in the doric style.
