Feel the Power

Living so close to our main airport I see lots of planes daily and it always captivates me to see such a huge weight take off.

Normally I don't go out into the rain with my Nikon as it's not considered waterproof, but this shot really begged for it.

The sheer power of the jets made visible by the water spray was something I had already seen yesterday but didn't have a tele lens with me :(

So I returned with the 70-300mm just to capture this.
