A trip to the beach

Another scorcher today. The good new is that it was almost 20 degrees cooler at the beach. I took this photo as I was walking onto the beach. It was such a relief to feel the cool breeze after having been in that extreme heat.

As I'm sitting here tonight the power is flickering on and off from the winds outside. I'm guessing a thunderstorm is brewing. Whenever it gets this hot thunderstorms are expected. It's all part of summertime weather here.
