Lonely bloom

We had torrential rain yesterday evening and many plants were heavy with moisture this morning. By midday the sun had dried them off and they raised their heads again. This agapanthus flower sadly is the only one blooming this year on a huge plant that has been in a very large pot for very many years. Until this year it has borne 20-30 beautiful blooms, but I fear that now it has thrown in the towel, fed up with being in a pot. I'm not sure whether we'll be able to get it out! Probably not.
